Most amazing dog ever! Ü
(Stop snarking at the weeds behind him. I told you we're redoing our landscaping back there. Tsk. Tsk. ;o)

Except for the fact that he is still a horrible car rider.

And the fact that no matter what kind of treats I buy him, nor does it matter how expensive they are, he won't touch them. :)

And the fact that most of the time, he does not sleep thru the night.

Other than that, he really is the most amazing dog ever. He ♥'s the wee ones & we ♥ him. Ü

My littlest swimmer.

Remember when all she did was sit on the edge? That is, until July 12th. When I coaxed her into floating in the water with me. Ü

Slowly, I began loosening my grip. Until she was doing this:

After that, she was brave enough to jump in, with her daddy or I catching her. When she would jump to me, I slowly began backing up. Until I wasn't catching her at all.

By the following day, she was jumping alone. Even gets in the ready position. Toes on the edge! Ü

7 days ago, she realized she could do this:

And alas, tonight, jumping on noobles. Ü

Tada! Yes, she says tada! Ü

Not bad for a tiny person who just turned 2 1/2 three weeks ago, heh? We have always had a pool (even at our previous home) -however, she is our earliest 'swimmer' yet. I wonder when the life jacket will come off? Hubby wants to try now. I say it's too soon. We'll see. :)

Please excuse the scenery - the left corner of our backyard is the worst part of our entire yard. Not only that, a few weeks ago, hubby pulled up all of our landscaping this side of the pool fence. So it's looking a little, well, drab.

And swimming suits are so overrated, don't you think? Ü

Bentley: Dad, in 18 years, you're going to be a Senior Citizen!

Hubby: (crickets)

Bahaha! Ü

Jaguar: There's (there's?) seeds in this peanut butter!

Me: They're not seeds. They're peanuts. It's crunchy peanut butter.

Jaguar: Oh.

Garage sale II. The final rose.

I know. "The final rose". I kill me. :) I use that phrase 'cause I'm pretty sure - a garage sale? Ain't never happenin' again. Having a garage sale, in Texas, in July, is just asinine. I had accumulated so much stuff though, I had no choice. To say it was miserable day (& the week prior) is an understatement.

The most humorous/entertaining part of the garage sale were all the children's clothing. Oh. Holy. Pickles. I had no idea I had that many clothes. It was completely overwhelming. And I did not get all the bags/containers opened & separated; therefore, people came into my garage, sat down on the floor & opened all my stuff themselves! And I let them. I was beyond caring at that point. Ü It's a shame the photos do not do justice to the actual amount of clothing/shoes I had. People were throwing this & digging thru that, & now the remainder of the clothes are a complete mess! All my sets have been separated & I have to start all over again. At least I can drag them into the house & resort in the air conditioning. :)

The below 2 photos are what I have left. And did I mention the clothes were all size 4T & under? LOL It's quite obvious my children had all (or most) of these clothes prior to moving into the money pit. 'Cause it'll be quite some time before they see a selection equivalent to what they were provided in the past. Baha! Ü

There is a somewhat new children's resale shop in our area (not the one I contacted about a year ago). Once I get a game plan & begin reorganizing the clothes, I'll be phoning them to see if they are interested in any of this. I have some leftover baby items as well, so hopefully they'll take the majority of what's left. I'll be taking the rest to Goodwill, after pulling some out for a friend.

All in all we had a super sale. But I sure don't want to do it again. Ever. Ü

Garage sale.

This is all I have accomplished thus far. Baha! Nothing has been priced - heck, I haven't even opened sacks/lg. trash bags/plastic containers yet! With 4 small children & the Texas heat, I am quite skeptical I can be ready by Friday. On top of that, all my immaculate baby items (swing, exercauser, etc.) that I had all washed fresh are filthy from sitting in the garage so long. :(

And the best part? This is only about 3/4 of the sale. I have more, including (very large) furniture! Oy! Pray for me! Ü

Just because.

I blew these out a little, just for fun. I have to admit - I love them. Ü

I think she gets more beautiful every day. ♥

This one is a little soft on the face, but I love it just the same.

And because photos don't always have to be perfect - talking.

Below - my favorite! This is her, 95% of the time.

It's really starting to hit me that she'll be in Kindergarten come August. And I've discovered, I'm not ready. I told my husband last night that I feel like I'm losing my children one by one. And I'm just not ready.

Audi to Jaguar: I'll always be older than you.

Jaguar's response: So. I'll always be taller than you.

Baha! Ü

My creativity at its finest.

I suppose spray painting raw candlesticks isn't really being creative. But for me? It is. 'Cause there ain't an ounce of creativity in my body. Trust me on that. Ü

Remember these little jewels? I got both for $5 (cha ching!) at a garage sale.

And after excruciating manual labor...

Tada! Ü

Don't be hatin'. It's not attractive on you. Ü

I've lost an earring.

And I think it possibly could be out here, on our patio.

It's a small diamond with a gold post. If you spot it in the above photo, could you please let me know? Thanks. Ü
