My middle son Jed is like this. I swear he goes to school more often than not with a black eye...and when asked how he got it...he just raises his shoulders and sighs...I don't know?? Our advice to him is always "Buddy, protect your face!"

I know this is an old post, but I had to say, I have a 9 year old one of those kind of boys and he's still doing those types of things to himself :)
