So you remember Melissa. You know, I just adore her & her blog. And her very sweet personality. She gave me the solution to disabling word verification & not getting spammed! Yippee! Immediately I followed her instructions & let me tell you - I no longer have word verification enabled (yippee again!) & I get spammed none. Not one time since I implemented the changes. Woot! Ü
Here's what you do:
1.) On your dashboard, click on 'Settings'.
2.) Choose 'Comments'.
3.) Under 'Who Can Comment?', choose option: 'Registered Users - includes OpenID'.
4.) Under 'Show word verification for comments?', choose option: 'No'.
5.) Click 'Save Settings'.
Tada! Disabling Word Verification might just get you some more comments! Then again, maybe not. But those who do comment, will very much appreciate you removing this one extra step. Happy quicker commenting! :)

I removed word verification from my blog too. I've read several places that people won't take the time to post if they have to do it. It's hard enough to get people to post! LOL
I do have moderate on though. Only because I have one person that lives to write snarky comments on my posts and I want to catch them before she does it.
I hate it as well. It is incredibly stupid.
Might have to add this to my blog. To be quite honest I've never realized what a pain it is but I think that's because I didn't know it could be removed!!
As far as the "delayed autolock" we have a GM truck too so maybe that's a feature they have on all their cars. My hubby says he disenabled it (at the dashboard with the keys on the steering wheel) but I don't trust it... gonna have to be extra careful not to put the keys down in the car!
Don't know what to tell you about the attack of the winshield wiper fluid! hehe!
Hope you guys are having a great week!
Hi Melissa, thanks for your advice! I removed the word verification, I guess I didn't even know it was there, haha! I'm still a little new to blogging :)
