Project365.

This year I am challenging myself to partake in this project.

One photo a day, every day.

I am starting today - 3 days late. I don't sweat the small stuff.

Because one of my 2009's Top Ten included photography - this seems like an appropriate challenge for me. Also, in my personal Project365, I will shoot all photos on manual, using no flash.

The Titles of the posts will simply be the date. The label will be Project365 2009.

Are you up for the challenge?

My little girl is 4.

Her birthday was 01-01-09. I'm late posting. She didn't really enjoy her birthday this year because unfortunately, her birthday is the day she began getting sick. We did the best we could & she loves her presents.

This is the best I could do with photos. She was completely unwilling to cooperate - finally I lost the battle & gave up. I snapped what I could snap & was done. She didn't feel well, I didn't feel well - it just wasn't an ideal day for photos. That's ok.

Now that she is four, it will be interesting to see how her personality & demeanor change. I call her my 'timid tiger'. She is so quiet, she is so shy & bashful. But oh don't be deceived - what is lurking inside is hell on wheels. ☺ She has always been a handful & still is. Having Jaguar around is like having 3 three year olds. Will that change now that she is four? :)

She is still my super tiny girl. She is so sweet & still loves to climb in our lap & rock. She says some of the most off-the-walls things & we all just giggle at her. Then I tell her they have special rooms for her at school. ;o) I can already see that part of her changing as she matures. Just in the last two weeks her speech & sentences have improved. She's growing up.

Still a girly-girl. Anything & everything pink. She requested a "dark pink" cake for her birthday. This year I was unable to fulfill that request so maybe next year. Ü

My precious girl. My 3rd miracle. I adored you the minute I saw you. And I still adore everything about you. My little soft spirit - I love you. Happy Birthday. ☺

She hugs.

Mercedes gives the most awesome, hold-on-tight hugs.

She offered me a hug after eating & drinking (pay attention to those verbs) lunch. So I squeezed her gently, as I always do. It's a security issue for her, I do believe.

A hug wasn't good enough this time though.

As I snuggled my little girl, a peculiar, warm sensation trickled down my back.

I leaned my Mercedes forward to assess the situation, only to discover she had vomited, yet again, down the backside of me. But she didn't stop there. As I was trying to plan an action quickly (without gagging or hurling myself), she then projectile vomited all over the front of me. My face. My glasses. My neck. Down my shirt. In between my legs, my sweats & all over the glider.

For whatever reason though, that still wasn't good enough. As I rapidly pushed her straight out & away from me, & as I was just beginning to catch a whiff of vomit aroma in my hair (& dripping from...my hair), she did it again. All over the carpet. And then some.

Now because I am a gagger, hubby handles these situations like a man. A real champ. Me, not so much. But hubby is on a plane. Coming home. I had no choice but to Cowgirl Up & be a woman. So I did. With Bentley's help. LOL That'll teach him to disobey.

I'll leave out the details 'cause they ain't pretty. Because these episodes happen quite frequently in our home, I almost took a photo to share with you all. Because posts without photos are lame & I'm in a bad habit of not posting enough photos. I thought this time though you might actually appreciate a photoless post.

Maybe next time.

I need prayer!

If any of you are prayer warriors like I am, please pray for me/us! I'm about to lose my mind.

Girl2 is NO better. Cough yes, cold no. We're going on one month of snotty nose/cold. This is way too much for my baby girl.

Boy1 is better. Still has somewhat of a cough.

Boy2 still has horrible cough.

Girl1 has awful cold now & horrible cough.

I'm going to run out of Orapred soon.

On top of that, I am sicker than a dog. Have been, but there's not a darn tootin' thing I can do about it. I have to keep going. Hubby is sick, but he's been in MN since yesterday a.m. - he's trying to get home quickly as they have an ice/snow storm predicted to begin at lunch today.

On top of that on top of that, the boys are still acting up now that they are bunking together again & last night I got NO sleep. Nothing. Maybe one hour. Every time I drifted off one of them woke me up. Such a shame too because since I feel so awful, they are now on restriction for TEN (yes I said ten) days. Trust me, they know the rules by now. I hope they enjoy no tv, no toys, no nothing for ten days. It's down to business, now.

Anyway, we seriously need some prayer. I have no clue as to what my next step will be - of course the ped. is closed & I have no desire to head to Cook's Urgent Care.

I'm so tired I can't even function @ a half-way decent pace.

Let's see if I can keep this straight.

Mercedes - on antibiotic 2 x daily, Orapred 2 x daily & down to 2 breathing treatments per day. Her cough is improving; her cold is improving slowly. She also takes Levoxyl 1 x daily for thyroid.

Bentley - on antibiotic 1 x daily, Orapred 2 x daily, down to 3 breathing treatments per day. He is improving rapidly.

Audi - now on Mercedes & Bentley's Orapred 2 x daily & breathing treatments 4 x daily. His cough is horrific.

Jaguar - now on Mercedes & Bentley's Orapred 2 x daily & breathing treatments beginning tonight & then 4 x daily. Her cough is following Bentley's, though not as drastic.

There. Did I miss anyone?
