This is a photo of me being driven around the football stadium when I was a senior in high school & crowned homecoming queen. Coincidentally enough, if you are a friend of mine on Facebook, you noticed one of my newest acquaintances as of today is Tim. Tim is actually the guy sitting in the front seat, waving. Unfortunately his hand is blocking his face. Tim was my escort both my junior (homecoming rep) & senior (homecoming queen) year.

This professionally matted & framed photo was left at my mother's place of employment two years ago. To date, we still have no clue as to who left the photo. We know he was a male, but that's all the information we received. A few hours after my mother clocked out of work, the guy took the photo in (he must have known her hours), grabbed a 8x10 piece of printer paper, wrote my mother's name on it, placed the paper across the actual photo (so she couldn't see it) & asked another employee to give it to my mother the following day. The girl did. And all she could tell us was "he was a cute guy".

Never heard a word since but I'll tell you this, he paid alot of money to have that photo matted & framed! I even tried to disassemble it to see if there is any handwriting on the back of the photo, but I can't get the dadgum thing apart!

What baffles me the most (& I find extremely interesting) is that that photo was taken in 1984, I do believe. I was 17. He held onto that photo (or recently came across it) for 23 years. Maybe some day we'll know who cared enough to professionally frame a photo of me. Until then, the mystery continues. ☺
