I LOVE having a fireplace. Our is gas, which I like because once you are done, you can just shut it off and you don't have to wait for it to cool down before going to bed. We have used it on many occasions. Nothing like curling up in front of the fire with the kids and some hot chocolate. But only the cheap kind, not the Starbucks kind LOL!
